JAMBI – On Monday, June 15, 2026, the International Office of UIN Sulthan Thaha Saifuddin Jambi (PLKI) paid a working visit to the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training, seeking to strengthen the university’s international partnerships.
The meeting, held in the dean’s office, brought together Dr. Hj. Fadlilah, M.Pd, Dean of the Faculty of Tarbiyah, and a delegation from PLKI led by Dr. Dion Ginanto, accompanied by staff members Aulia Handayani and Ingka Maryani.
The visit was part of PLKI’s broader effort to ensure that international cooperation agreements move beyond formal documents. Discussions centered on how partnerships could serve as evidence for research, teaching, and community service—key components in accreditation processes. The meeting also provided an opportunity to learn from the faculty’s best practices in building ties with overseas institutions.
The session began with introductions from PLKI staff, followed by an explanation of the office’s objectives. Dr. Fadlilah responded with a call for boldness in pursuing collaboration.
“We must be more courageous in opening doors to cooperation. If necessary, direct visits abroad should be seen as investments for the future,” she said.
“The Faculty of Tarbiyah is ready to support and facilitate the follow-up of agreements initiated by the international office.”
Dr. Dion Ginanto emphasized the importance of feedback from the faculty. “We hope to receive input on partnerships and the follow-up of MoUs already signed,” he noted. “We welcome criticism and suggestions so that the vision of campus internationalization can truly be realized.”
The working visit underscored UIN STS Jambi’s commitment to embedding international collaboration into the daily life of its faculties, ensuring that global engagement translates into tangible benefits for academic development.
