Digital media and technology have increasingly shaped human lives over the last two decades. This interactive course offered by Faculty of Science and Technology focuses on a specific set of current issues that have arisen as a result of the growing importance of digital media and technologies in the modern world.
This program is available for two weeks offline. (If needed) It will be continued through online programs for the rest of the semester.

This Program will benefit students in the following ways:
- Students learn the culture of Indonesia and Jambi Province, which will give way to break the cultural, language, and religious barriers. This will help students accept different communication channels.
- Improve students’ academic performance and knowledge
- Raise awareness about how people think and prioritize in other countries. Students begin to think in new ways and are exposed to a variety of problem-solving techniques that they can apply in their professional and personal lives.
- They also observe how students from other countries study, alternate methods of acquiring knowledge, newer sources of knowledge, and so on.
- Through industrial visits, they gain international industry exposure. They are familiar with the standards, procedures, policies, administration styles, and other aspects of global industries.
- Assist students in gaining confidence in the face of life’s challenges.
- One of the most significant benefits for students is networking. They have the opportunity to network with a large number of people, which may help them improve their projects or businesses in the future.
- Learn to get out of their comfort zone and deal with difficult situations.
- Students also will spend their time sightseeing for a few hours to relax and explore a new country.

Jambi is the place where the biggest Budhist temple site is located. It was considered as one of the oldest university in Southeast Asia. Jambi is also rich with its culture and Malay traditions.

- September 28: Bahasa Indonesia class and Malay culture
- September 29: Classes End, Graduation Ceremony
- September 30: Student Departure

The Global Immersion Program at UIN Jambi is looking for applicants who are in good standing (academically and behaviorally) at their home universities. Although the International Office and the Faculty of Science and Technology review your application, the faculty instructors of each course will have the final admissions decision and they reserve the right to deny admission.
